Music Together Classes

VISIT Music Together Online page for class information.

Thank you for your interest in our classes! (schedule below)

As a family in one of our Music Together classes, you and your child will have the opportunity to play musically each week under the guidance of one of our early childhood music specialists. During class, you will sing and move to songs and rhythmic rhymes in a variety of meters and tonalities by participating in activities that include small and large movement, instrument play, and community singing. These fun activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences that are developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers to participate in regardless of their own musical ability.

What's in the Box: Each fall, winter, spring session has its own song collection (CD plus download code and brand-new fully illustrated & revamped songbook), with nine distinct collections in all; three summer compilations are "best of" collections; holiday session uses Music Together "Family Favorites" vol. 1 or 2 or the "Lullabies" collection plus the intro 8 songs on the free app). Families new to Music Together will also receive our “Music Together at Home: Helping Your Child Grow Musically” parent booklet, a growth chart to look ahead at your child's potential musical development (and yours), and occasional newsletters from Music Together with instrument deals and contests.

The Family Music Zone and free "Hello, Everybody" app: Enrolled families receive a code to access Music Together's Family Music Zone where you can download the songs from the current song collection and explore fun content created just for you. Families can also unlock their song collections on Music Together's free "Hello, Everybody" app and play songs karaoke-style (showing the words)! Both platforms provide access to your songbook, Music Together storybooks, and song notation.

Class Size:  The minimum enrollment is generally five to six children; maximum is eleven. Two adult caregivers are always welcome to participate (parents, nannies, grandparents, aunts/uncles, etc.). Any class not meeting the minimum enrollment is subject to cancellation, so invite your friends to join you in your favorite class if you see there's space! See FAQ on Who Can Attend?

Starting a Class: To start a class at an existing location with your friends or parenting group, please contact the director. You'll need four–six children to get started, depending on type & location. Good times are classes that are listed as "On Hold" or times before or after an existing class, though a teacher might have availability on other days, as well.

On Hold: To put your name on a waiting list for a class that's on hold, contact
